BLITZ

Terms of Use

Effective 30 August 2026

Plain-language summary (the numbered sections govern): Blitz is a self-custodial app that sends your orders directly to the Hyperliquid exchange. You hold your own keys and funds. Perpetual futures are high-risk — you can lose everything you deposit, quickly. We charge the fees shown in the app. Don't use Blitz where it isn't legal for you to trade.

1. What Blitz is

Blitz (the "App") is a self-custodial software interface to Hyperliquid, a third-party decentralized exchange (the "Venue"). The App generates trading keys on your device, and your orders are signed on your device and submitted directly to the Venue. We do not take custody of your assets, execute trades on your behalf, or act as a broker, exchange, money transmitter, or fiduciary.

2. Eligibility

3. Self-custody and your responsibility

Your wallet and its keys are yours. If you lose access to your sign-in method or device, we may be unable to recover your wallet. You are solely responsible for safeguarding your account, reviewing every order before you place it, and monitoring your positions. Blockchain transactions are irreversible.

4. Risk disclosure

Trading perpetual futures with leverage is highly risky. Prices are volatile; leverage amplifies losses; positions can be liquidated automatically, and you can lose your entire balance in seconds. Funding rates, gaps in market-hours products, network congestion, and Venue downtime can all cause losses. Nothing in the App is investment, financial, legal, or tax advice. Trade only what you can afford to lose.

5. Fees

We charge a builder fee on eligible orders, at the rates shown in the App, collected through the Venue's builder-fee mechanism. During setup the app automatically authorizes this builder fee on your own keys, capped at 6 basis points — there is no separate approval step; you consent to it by using the App, and the fee is never charged above that cap. Referral discounts and rewards are as described in the App. The Venue and blockchain networks charge their own fees, which are not ours.

6. Third-party services

The Venue, authentication (Privy), the optional card on-ramp (Crossmint), and blockchain networks are independent services we don't control. Their availability, execution quality, and terms are theirs; your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

7. Market data and numbers

Prices, PnL, funding, and fee figures shown in the App are derived from the Venue or from our reconciled fee ledger. They can be delayed or briefly out of sync with the Venue; the Venue's records control.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the App for unlawful activity, market manipulation, or attempts to interfere with, reverse-engineer, or abuse the App, our servers, or the Venue; and not to access the App with automated systems in ways that burden the service.

9. Availability and changes

The App is provided "as is" and "as available." We may change, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time, including pausing our deposit or on-ramp rails during incidents. We may update these terms; continued use after an update is acceptance. Material changes will be announced in the App.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law: we disclaim all warranties, express or implied; we are not liable for trading losses, loss of funds or keys, Venue or network failures, or indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages; and our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim or USD 100.

11. Indemnity

You will indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your use of the App, your trading activity, or your breach of these terms.
